Jaipur: Two unidentified men grabbed a private car from a police inspector and police chief and shot at the last in Dhaba on the roadside in Sikar Rajasthan Regency in early Tuesday, officials said.
The incident occurred under the Ranoli police station at around 2:30 a.m.
when the Narendra Khinchad Inspector and Manendra Singh police chief, both in ordinary clothes, stopped at Dhaba for dinner.
They are in a private car.
“As soon as they entered Dhaba, the two accused the tea there asked for the key to their vehicle.
When Manendra refused, one of them fired a shot and grabbed the key and took the vehicle.
The police chief received a bullet injury in the stomach and operated,” said Sikar SP Kunwar Rastradeep.
Constable head condition is stable.
Khinchad is the Mitigation of the Jaipur East District Special Team.
“Different teams have been formed because they identify and find the defendant,” SP said.
Meanwhile, the BJP opposition targets the state government to the legal and order situation.
The Head of BJP Spokesman Ramlal Sharma said there was no fear among criminals who did not save the policy now.
“The police were looted in Sikar who showed that the law supremacy had ended in Rajasthan.
This is not the first incident when the police have been targeted.
