Chandigarh: Minister of Union and the BJP Punjab Election responsible for the charges of Gajendra Shekhawat said on Tuesday that the party’s opposition room would shrink further when leaders who had the ideology to revive Punjab to the previous glory stopped and joined the Safron Party.
Shekhawat said it was very unfortunate that the congress bent to unethical politics on January 5, when there was a violation of the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ferozepur.
Modi has an extraordinary award for Punjab and has a complete road map with a commitment to revive the country from its economic coercion, the Union Minister said.
He welcomed more than 50 leaders from Congress and other parties who joined BJP on Tuesday, including former Secretary General of the Congress of the Lakhwinder Kaur Garcha.
President Punjab BJP Ashwani Sharma said Punjab would choose peace, harmony and prosperity and only BJP which could give a government state to be free of mafia.
“Chief of the Minister of Charanjit Singh Channi and state president of the Navjot Singh Sidhu Congress fight in public every day while the community is rejected by a good clean administration,” Sharma said.
