New Delhi: Some of the automatic multilevel parking facilities in Green Park, which was inaugurated by South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) in November last year, fainted Tuesday night, the Civic authorities said.
They claimed that there were no victims or human damage in the car reported in the incident.
The police said information was received at the Hauz Police Station typical of an electrically operated floor plate incident (which shifted the car) falling in multi-level parking.
“Multi-level parking has now been blocked and no entries allowed to complete technical inspections,” said a senior police officer.
The automatic stack parking facility was inaugurated in November last year by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and the Central Minister of RK Singh along with senior SDMC officials.
“The car is parked on a platform in the automatic stack parking lot.
Because some technical errors one platform parking facilities collapsed.
It is not the main incident.
Anyone who was injured and any car was damaged in the incident,” Mayor SDMC Suryan told PTI.
