Shimla: Some of the Shimla-Ghagas highways collapsed in Ghandal in the Shimla district on Monday night, disrupting traffic on a busy national highway.
Landslides have occurred near the Judicial Academy in Ghandal after that some roads collapse and the car is broken.
Five people traveling in the car managed to escape without stopping.
District administration has divert traffic through Nalhatti-Kalhatti Link Road.
Nalhatti is about 5 km from Ghandal and Kalhatti within 4 km of Nalhatti.
The heavy flow of traffic on the road also causes problems with local commuters because of the situation like jam witnessed there.
Deputy Deputy Shimla, Aditya Negi on Tuesday visited a landslide area in Ghandal and recorded the situation.
He asked Nhai officials to repair the earliest way.
He also directs the Department of Public Works to remove congestion from alternative routes.

On Monday, the incidence of landslides and large stones was reported from several Kinnaur district places.
