Mumbai: The Post Department celebrates the National Post Sunday and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from 9-16 October.

On Banking Day October 11, nearly 50,000 Post Office Savings Bank accounts and 16,200 Samriddhi account opened through a weld of financial inclusion held at 254 locations.
In PLI (post insurance) on October 12, 17,600 pli and rural PLI policies sold in the Maharashtra circle, exceeding the target of 12,500.
Sharma said that around 630 welds were carried across Maharashtra and Goa that day, more than the desired destination of 500.
Some uninsured people were taken under insurance.
