The power of 70,000 was cut in Kalyan for RS 105 Crore contributions

Kalyan: MSEDCL (Kalyan Circle) Supply 70,686 customers who failed to pay electrical bills since November 2020.
Consumers are in arrears RS 105 Crore and MSEDCL officials say supply will be restored only after they pay arrears and reconnecting costs, along with current bills.
MSEDCL officials said in addition, 7.83,000 consumers in a circle have arrears RS 402 Crore up to 2021.
Dinesh Agrawal, Head of the Engineer (Kalyan Circle) said, “MSEDCL’s financial situation is not good, so consumers must pay arrears along with the current bill.”
