Hyderabad: Police personnel were deployed at Malkajgiri President MP and Telangana Pradesh Congress (TPCC) as Revanth Reddy’s house in Hyderabad on Monday morning to prevent him from visiting the land auctioned by the government in Kokapet.
However, the Congress Party accused the police to prevent parliamentarians go to parliament.
Senior Vice President of TPCC Mallu Ravi accused the leaders of the senior Congress, including Revanth Reddy, has been placed under the arrest of the house by the police on Monday morning.
While the leaders of Congress accused Reddy stopped by the police going to Parliament, Banjara Hills ACP M Sudarshan said they did not prevent parliamentarians go to parliament.
“We are here to tell MP that he can’t visit Kokapet for protest.
We don’t prevent MP from going to Parliament,” ACP said.
