The president of the Tribal Dance Dance President

Udhagamandalam: President of RAM Nath Kovind on Thursday witnessed a cultural program by tribes in Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan located within the government botanical gardens in the city.
The program began with a traditional umbrella presentation to the President by a group of Badaga, indigenous to Nilgiris.
Toda and the city tribe presents every shawl to Kovind.
A group of 35 Badaga, sports in their traditional clothing, performed their traditional dances with unique beats filling the air.
While a set of 40 todes and a group of 30 Kotas conducted their tribal dance style, a group of tribes Kattunayakar showed off their traditional dances.
Each tribal dance defends exactly for eight minutes.
Each group, was overwhelmed by appearing in front of the president, given the opportunity to take photos with Kovind.
