Panaji: In a large setback to Congress, especially in Salcete, Curorim Mla three times and the president who worked at Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco resigned from home membership on Monday.
He will join TMC in Kolkata on Tuesday in front of Bengal Bengal Barat Mamata Banerjee.
Lourenco’s resignation has left Congress in a surprised state.
Four days ago, he was announced as a party’s cororim candidate for the election of assembly of 2022 in the first list of Congress from eight candidates.

I waited but there was no step from Congress.
So, I decided to move to a party that was ready to take into trouble.
And TMC Do that, “Lourenco, who has held talks with BJP and AAP before settling for TMC, said.
“We are all members of Congress and we accept the Banerjee Congress,” he said in a video message from Kolkata.
On Monday, he handed his resignation to the legislative secretary, and then, the speaker Rajesh Patnekar accepted it.
With the resignation of Lourenco, the strength of the congress in the legislative assembly of 40 members has been reduced into two opposition leaders and Margao Mla drawn, and Senior Poriem Mla Pratapsingh Rane.
In the 2017 Assembly election, Congress has emerged as the only biggest party to win 17 seats.
Political observer said that for more than a year, Lourenco had explored his political choices, and finally he found it at TMC.
Some time ago, speculation was rampant that Lourenco was joining AAP, and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was even scheduled to visit Goa for induction to a party.
But the President of the State of President Girish Chodankar and Kamat convinced him to keep promising to give him a big role to play at the party.
Rahul Gandhi spoke to him and then, he was appointed as the second party president.
Lourenco also met the BJP Goa election responsible for Devendra Fadnivis and discussed his plan to join BJP, but it did not materialize.
Lourenco is the most vocal Mola congress for the past five years, both inside and outside the assembly.
He has caused various problems, including three linear projects in Mollem.
Recently, the former Chief of Minister and former Navelim Mla Luizinho Faleiro have resigned from Congress to join TMC, which nominated it as a member of Rajya Sabha.
The former former minister and former Ponda Mla Ravi Congress rose, who recently resigned and joined BJP.
Before Lourenco’s resignation, the Congress had sneaked into only three MLA from the majority at home after the last election.
