Patna: The Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Patna (AIIMS-P), Dr.
PK Singh, on Saturday inaugurated a highly sophisticated microscopic and endoscopic dissection laboratory in the Ear Department, Nose and Throat (ENT) in collaboration with the Anatomy Department .
He said the laboratory not only facilitated the teaching and training of ENT operations, head and neck but also useful in the treatment of many diseases related to these vital organs.
Dr.
Karanti Bhawana, Head of ENT, said the ears, nose and throat are closely related to the brain and many diseases that penetrate deep into them are needed with precision operations.
This lab will also be far from the significance to teach and training corpses under medical studies.
“The AIIMS-P ENT department has many new and early technologies this new lab will add to their utility for care.
At the average, 270 patients visit the Hospital in the Hospital department per day while around 25 operations are carried out a week,” added Dr.
