Mumbai: The price of compressed natural gas (CNG) will be carried out by Rs 2 per kg, including tax, from Saturday morning while the gas cooking pipe level will increase by Rs 1.50 per unit.
The price of the revised CNG is now Rs 63.50 per kg while the gas pipeline revision rate is Rs 38 per unit.
This year, the CNG level in the Mumbai Metropolitan region has increased around RS 16 in 11 months – which is a major burden on more than 8 Lakh consumers, which includes more than 3 lakh private car users other than public transportation such as autos, taxis and buses.
Also, this is the fourth increase in the last three months.
