Nagpur: The Nagpur Unit of Indian Youth Congress on Monday held a protest against price and inflation rises, and shouted slogans against the MOD government which demanded immediate steps to reduce prices.
Holding placards and banners, members of the Youth Congress held a general meeting from Samvidhan Square to the Division Commissioner Office in the afternoon.
Traffic police must block the movement of the vehicle until the GPO square during the rally.
Congress leaders, including Guardian Minister Nitin Raut, Chairman of the Nagpur Congress Congress Committee Nagpur Rajendra Mulak and Mla Vikas Thakre participated in the rally.
Many youth activists, Nitin Kumbhalkar, Ajit Singh and others are present in large quantities.
The delegation under the Congress of Youth Vice President Kunal Raut filed a memorandum of demands to the Divisional Commissioner Prajaka Lavangare Verma.
Previously, Minister of Livestock Development and Dairy Sunil Kedar, President of Nagpur Zilla Parishad Rashmi Barve, opposition leader at Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) Tansaji Vanve, former leader of MLA and Intuku Sq Zama, Kunal Raut, and Minister of AEAS faced the participants at Samvidhan Square.
Previously, Kunal Raut stated that all promises made by the Modi government so far turned out to be wrong.
“They promised to reduce inflation in 100 days, but have reached the highest of all time in seven years.
During the Government of Congress, BJP leaders are agressing throughout the country on the increase in fuel prices.
Now the price of gasoline and diesel has passed RS100, but everything is Mother, “he said.
Increasing the problem of unemployment, he said that millions of people have lost their jobs because of the wrong government policy.
“It’s time for the government to go down due to all-round failure,” he said.
