Patna: Representatives from different student organizations disrupt the counseling and acceptance process in various Patna University (PU) universities on Tuesday.
They demanded a chair reservation for students who passed their class XII exam from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).
Before the counseling session can be started at Patna Science College and Patna College, the student part prevents the ticket seeker into the center.
They also asked teachers and other support staff not to involve themselves in the work associated with entry.
Agitation students, led by former President of Union Union of Patna University, Manish Yadav, showed that BSEB students were given a very low sign even though they wrote their exam in physical mode.
Their colleagues from other boards, on the contrary, got higher grades without checks.
Then, PU Proctor, Rajneesh Kumar, told this newspaper, “Dean of the welfare of students, Anil Kumar, tried to convince the protesters, but they did not budge.
As a result, counseling sessions and job related to receipts remained disturbed for a long time.” However , Counseling and student admissions in other centers such as B N College and Magadh Mahila College took place peacefully.
Students are accepted in the courses given after verifying their documents and certificates at the college counter.
Principal B N College, Raj Kishore Prasad, claimed, “Some candidates from the centers where counseling sessions are disturbed to here and receive entrance tickets.” On Day 1, the process of receiving slowly only 150 students, including 54 in Magadh Mahila College, 53 at B N College, 23 in Patna College, and 20 in Patna Science College, received.
The counseling process and acceptance in all of these centers will continue until Saturday.
