The Puja Durga Committee in Gurgaon chooses low celebrations

Pandal Hopping has become one of the highlights of the celebration of Durga Puja Gurgaon for many years.
The Bengali City community organizes more than two dozen durga pujas throughout the city every year.
So, disappointment could not be avoided when Covid caused a puja celebration in the city was canceled last year.
Foods and food lovers only have to wait longer because the persistence of pandemic and government regulations in the place means that even though the Puja Gurgaon Durga Committee will hold a celebration this year, they will mostly be closed for the general public.
Almost all Durga pujas held in the city of Millennium this year did not allow visitors outside the committee members.
No great pandal, no food kiosk, and no cultural program on the ground.
Tapas Dey from the Sahasrabi Committee Durga Puja said, “We will only hold a small puja inside the place.
There will be no food stalls or other attractions.
In fact, pandal and puja will only open to members of their committees and their families.” Even though there is no limit In partial vaccinated participants, all committees said they were trying to make sure all members doubled when the puja began.
In fact, all pujas ensure all staff and helpers, including priests, chefs, etc., are also fully vaccinated.
In addition, there is no bhog in a pandal with most of the pujas preferring takeaways or binding with food delivery providers for home delivery for members.
Almost all Durga pujas held in the city this year does not allow visitors outside the committee members who must have enabled outsiders to have introduced a list of time lists for visitors to avoid density in the venue, using technology for it.
Nitish Mukherjee, a member of the government body from Bangiya Parishad who organized a large Puja in sector 56, told us, “We have an application where visitors can register themselves and order a time slot in advance for their visit to Pandal.
There are limited visitors.
There is every time slot to ensure the number of visitors at a time at a time does not exceed the limit specified by the administration.
“For some people, the reduction scale also means changes in the venue.
Purbapalli Durgotsav, for example, usually holds a large-scale puja in sector 15 but because Covid, this year, they not only scale the celebration down but also shift the venue to farm houses in the suburbs on the outskirts of the city.
“Because puja is open only for members and a much smaller scale, we arrange it in farm houses outside the city.
We can ensure the Covid protocol is being followed far better there,” Shoubhik Sen said, which was associated with Puja.
Many Puja Committees will organize cultural programs, even though virtually.
Most will stream them live or delayed on their social media pages or websites.
Organizers say that virtual models have enabled them to be more ambitious with the choice of their artists.
“The scope of cultural activities has actually increased this year because everything is digital.
In addition, because the situation of Covid and the work-from-house has been going on for one and a half years, everyone is now experienced with technology.
In this way, we can have an artist from Kolkata Appearing for us virtually, some of them might not go to Gurgaon instead, “said Nitish Mukherjee from Bangiya Parishad.
The Puja Committee has purchased licensed software to stream performances on their social media.
Like last year, the committee jointly formed the Puja Committee together in Gurgaon to oversee Visionjan idols with environmentally friendly.
Usually, it is done in a large tank in sector 56 but this time, because most idols are much smaller than ordinary years, it will also be a smaller business.
“There will be no procession during Visarjan and each committee will be permitted to bring only five people to Visarjan,” telling the Sen Shoubhik.
