Hyderabad: A Naga Pratisha Puja to ward off negative influences is likely to burden you this Karthika season bomb.
Even small temples in the city are charged between RS 60,000-70,000 for the Puja Projapha Dragon because demand has peaked with many who want to leave personal and financial losses after covid pandemics.
“This is the best medicine for those who find it difficult to get married, troubled in marriage, do not have children, work problems.
But we recommend this based on individual graphics,” said Parduru Rajasekhara Sharma, a fortune teller based in the city.
“I don’t have money or time to visit famous temples.
So, I’m looking for this puja in the city.
For my surprise, some priests demanded Rs 60,000,” said Lakani, a professional software that faces work problems.
According to Sharma, Puja is done where Shiva is one of the gods and takes 3-5 hours.
The idol of God’s snake must be installed and the priest or the person who solve it must ensure that the puja is offered every day.
“It is seen as a very complex process and not many temples prefer to have snake idols installed by worshipers.
So the accusation is high,” another astrologer said.
The famous Srikalahasti Temple began offering this Puja in 2017 around Rs 15,000.
“But in small temples, it takes more than Rs 50,000.
Very few temples that offer this puja at a cheaper price,” said M Malikharjun, Pandit.
The Temple’s authority said the request was high during a profitable Karthika season, especially in festive days like Nag Chaviti.
A Shiva temple manager in Chaitanyapuri said, “We have full bookings.
But we have to turn out many things because our temple is very small.”
