Bathinda: Nearly two dozen farmer groups Punjab is expected to form a political front or even a party on Saturday and join the election politics.
In accordance with reliable sources, the new political entity is likely to have the word ‘Sanyukt’ on his name like BKU based in Haryana, led by Gurnam Singh Charuni named his political wing, the Sanyukt Sangharsh party.
The agricultural leaders who are ready to participate directly in the election politics have been asked to reach Chandigarh on Saturday, where this announcement is expected to be made.
Anywhere between 20 and 25 agricultural groups is expected to be part of this political entity.
Balbir’s senior farmer leader Singh Rajewal is likely to be entrusted with leading this campaign.
