Letter: The branch of the branch of the letter to catch two gangsters was accused of being under the control of Gujarat for terrorism and organized crime (Gujcoc) acting from Hadmatiya from the Somnath GIR district.
Those who were arrested include Vipul Gajipara and refused aka Nano Denyo Biladawala Khatri.
A violation under GujcoC was registered with 10 gang members including Gajipara and Khatri on January 28 in the City of Letter.
Probe was handed over to the Assistant Commissioner of Police C K Patel, a division.
With the arrest of Gajipara and Khatri, a total of seven defendants are now behind the bat.
Three members of the Altaf Patel gang, Azad Pathhan alias Zoja and Ankit aka doctor Karamvirsingh were in runaway.
“Gajipara is an important catch because he is a gang kingpin who extorted money from an entrepreneur by disrupting property disputes,” said Commissioner of the Police of Ajay Tomar.
The gang was led by Gajipara and Altaf.
They contacted people involved in land disputes and extorting money to create further disturbances.
More than 30 violations have been registered against gang members in various letter police companies.
The gang was allegedly involved in the case of extortion, intimidation, attack and riots.
