The Rajasthan Excise Ministry turned off 16 liquor stores for three days

Jaipur: After the Excise Ministry suspended 16 stores for three days on Wednesday, liquor traders accused that they were targeted after protests were initiated by them to change the policy.
Disappointed with the movement, the traders have decided to submit their shop to the Excise Ministry on Thursday.
The Excise Ministry claimed the action was taken when traders did not deposit composite fees.
However, traders accused the department targeting traders who protested the government.
Nilesh Mewara, said President of the Conference of Society, said the traders announced to protest new policies to collect minister’s main attention.
After this action was taken against the protesters.
“To develop pressure tactics on traders, the Excise Ministry has taken action.
There are several stores that have not deposited composite fees.
But, only one group has been targeted.” More traders accused almost three months, contractors from all countries have shown At the head office and the Excise Office, the warehouse, but the government did not accept their demands.
“After traders announced it coming on the road, the department took action.
We are entrepreneurs and will not default on payment.
The government harasses traders who are under the financial crisis,” said other members.
Liquor traders claim that the state government eliminates the cost of licensing, but gives it a new name, basic license fees and RS 881 per box in the liquid made by Rajasthan, Rs 357 per box is charged separately on liquor in the country.
Because the number of stores increases in the state, it is claimed that profit sharing is reduced.
In addition, traders allegedly face difficulties because of the guarantee system.
A community member also demanded that the excise department must provide various relaxation for traders to survive in business.
“This is mandatory for a trader to buy soft drinks every month from the Excise Depot.
A penalty is worn, if the trader fails.
After the stores are made composite, traders must buy stock of Indian foreign liquor (IMFL), Liquor State including Liquor Rajasthan (RML).
It is difficult for shop owners to sell third stock categories.
