Jaipur: Seeing the interest of lukewarm from bars and restaurants for micro-breweries, the Ministry of Finance has reduced customs from Rs 60 per bulk liter to RS 40.
For the first time, in excise policy for 2021-22, the government has permitted factory settings micro in the state.
When asked, a senior Excise Ministry official said the department had not issued rules for brewing licenses.
Despite call and text messages, excise commissioners do not respond to questions.
But according to the industry, two restaurants have begun to set up a beer factory in the city of Jaipur.
While the government is included in the policy of providing a license for micro-beer, bars and restaurants have not shown interest.
Sources in liquor trade said, “Locking has become one of the reasons why bars, hotels and restaurants have not shown interest.
But the government is silent in this segment even though it includes offering licenses in the policy.” There are many cities in India where micro- Breamer operates, offers a new brewed beer with a different taste and concoction.
In some cities, newly made beers are also supplied to other bars and restaurants.
Being a tourist country, micro-breamer can be a new attraction for tourists.
But it hasn’t taken off now.
