Ranchi: Ranchi DC Chavi Ranjan was found to have misused the power of his justice in the investigation carried out by the South ChhotanAgpur division commissioner into a 7.16 acre land mutation in the Hell area.
According to a senior official, DC had ignored several legal provisions when he heard the petition submitted by one Vinod Kumar Singh after 15 months far exceeded the time limit specified by 60 days.
Sources in the District Administration said Vinod had communicated by saying that he was told about the older regularity and could not submit a revised petition.

Amarendra Pratap Singh Revenue Member, who has also been given a copy of the report to issue recommendations about such things, said, “We are studying the report and as a quasi-judicial body, we cannot take any action related to anyone administrative problems.
However, we have been asked to recommend several suggestions in connection with alleged errors so that similar instances do not occur anywhere else.
“In particular, the South Chhotanagpur division commissioner Nitin Madian Kulkarni was directed to investigate the state income secretary into this issue after Vinod moved The secretary of the head of the “wrong mutation” of his land to the other party.
After conducting an investigation, the Commissioner has recommended administrative and disciplined actions against Ranjan.
The commissioner in his report said that Ranjan misused his judicial power by making a decision after another Ravi Singh Bhatia and Shyam Singh in mutation.
The report also said the DC did not only hear the petition after the specified time but also showed an error in the part of the henthal guard circle officer by sending ‘Panchnama’ for the sake of Bhatia and Singh.
The recommended report published the cause of the show to circle officers relating to this problem.
A senior bureaucrat said the report was surprising and the allegations of mistakes were great worries.
