Guwahati: The head of Minister Assam Himanta Buswa Sarma on Sunday said he would welcome the Banerjee Mamata to Assam and Tripura with a red carpet “to share the sound of Congress”.
Speaking at an event to commemorate the Day of the Trinamool Chatra Parishad (TMCP) Foundation in Kolkata on Saturday, Supremo TMC signifies BJP with “Khela Hobe in Tripura and Assam” Jab ahead of 2024 general elections.
But Sarma said considering the Mamata sound bank and the focus area, its presence in northeastern countries would mainly divide the vote of the Congress.
He also called the former President of the Mahila Indian Congress Sushmita Dev, who recently joined TMC, a district leader in Assam.
“What should be played with him? Didi continues to visit Assam.
He will pay Obeisance to Maa (Kamakhya) and return to Bengal.
What will he do in Assam?” Sarma answered when asked by reporters about Mamata’s comments.
Sarma is in Siliguri to entertain members of the family of former BJP Bearak Kumar Ghoshe leader, who recently died.
Ghose is MLA from Mariani on Assam where Bypoll caused along with four other constituencies.
Sarma said the aggressive campaign of Mamata in Tripura and Assam in the upcoming election will be “beneficial to BJP”.
“The journey to Assam and Tripura will only help us.
I will welcome it with a red carpet to help BJP in the upcoming election,” he said.
TMC Supremo Mamata said, “Khela Hobe in Tripura.
In Assam, Khela Hobe, All-India Khela Hobe.
And in 2024, in Delhi Khela Hobe.
We are ready to die but are not ready to sell the country to BJP.” Sarma Exploring Mamata for the situation of law and order in West Bengal, because the Calcutta High Court recently ordered the CBI probe into violence after Bengal poll.
“Assam and West Bengal went to the election simultaneously.
But even the stone was not thrown into a rival house in Assam.
Here, the High Court must order the CBI probe.
Legal differences and order easily seen,” Sarma added.
In Assam, Mamata has succeeded in Roping on one of the most prominent faces of the Congress in Delhi, Sushmita Dev, to pioneer the campaign in the upcoming election in the region.
But Sarma got rid of speculation that Sushmita who joined Trinamool could pose a major threat to the Saffron coalition in Tripura and Assam.
However, in Tripura, many MLAs are reportedly related to Trinamool’s leadership and can join the party as the current term because the legislator approaches the end.
“The position of Sushmita Dev is not Pan-Assam.
He is limited to a district,” said Sarma, added that the AIudF Congress and Badruddin will be a loser from him to join TMC because he could wean the voice of the two anti-BJP parties in the valley barracks in South Assam from South Assam where he is.
Sarma said his government was committed to bringing down all cases of the Gorkha community in foreign courts.
He added that active efforts to free Hindu Bengalis left from detention camps.
“We have provided class status protected by Gorkhas even in tribal belts and blocks.
I think only 12 Bengali Hindus in the detention camp.
They are also in the process of being released.
Everything will be quite normal in the next few months,” he said.
