The team of referee all women will be responsible for the English Cup qualifier in Andorra on Saturday, with Kateryna Monzul Ukraine in the middle and compatriot Maryna Striletska and Svitlana Grushko her assistant.
Experienced French referee Stephanie Frappart will be the refereest video assistant for Group I games at the Nacional Estadi, marking the first time a senior English senior company will have all female referees.
Two men were also part of a larger big officer team, with the fourth official Shurman Denys while fellow Ukraine Viktor Matyash would help Frappart.
Monzul led the UEFA League match between San Marino and Gibraltar in November last year as part of the first team of the first female referee responsible for the international male international.
He made history in 2016 when he became the first female referee in Ukraine to lead the Division match for men – the game between Chornomorets Odesa and Volyn Lutsk.
Among other major events, Monzul has used the Women’s World Cup, including the 2015 final, and in the European Championship.
In the past two years, Frappart became the first woman to the referee of the Men’s Champions League match, the French Ligue 1 match and men’s World Cup qualifier.
He also became the first female official involved in the Male European Championship match this year.
