Patna: State Congress Responsible, Bhakta Charan Das, on Sunday accused the leader of RJD Tejashwi Prasad Yadav did not follow the Dharma Alliance in the election of the Kusheshwar assembly and Tarapur in Bihar.
He also said the results of the Bypoll would determine the future of the Grand Alliance (GA) in Bihar.
Congress wants the contest from Kusheshwar Asthan as in the polls 2020 when the party gets it under the formula sharing chairs ga led by RJD.
But RJD fights both from chairs and Congress, in retaliation, has also reduced its candidates in the constituency for the election to be held on October 30.
The watershed, which reached Patna on Sunday to discuss the party’s strategy with party leaders, said Congress had told Tejashwi about his strength at Kusheshwar Asthan.
“He (Tejashwi) said our candidate would not win.
But I tried to make him understand and even told him that our team would visit the constituency and conduct an assessment.
We even formed a team, but he (Tejashwi) stated his candidate,” said the watershed, adding that Congress will fight Bypolls strongly.
“Our victory in a single seat will be an RJD advantage.
So what is the reason for making us weak,” said the watershed and reaffirming that the fight between Congress and RJD in both seats was unfriendly.
Congress State spokesman Rajesh Rathorre further said since RJD and Congress fought against each other at Bypolls, how could they be called alliance partners.
Then, the waters even formed a member of 51 members to work for Bypolls.
Bihar Congress President Mohan Mohan Jha said the Jumbo team would ensure that Congress candidates won the Bypolls.
Meanwhile, members of the Bihar Congress will hold silent protests near the Income Tax Roundabout on Monday against the murder of Lakhimpur Kheri.
Das, together with the leader of the state and party members, will be there.
