Jaipur: Vote counting for three phases of elections for members of Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti in six districts will be held on Saturday.
Calculation will start from 9am at the district headquarters.
Meanwhile, the election of 59.05% was recorded after the vote on the day of Jalau in one ward of Jalsu Panchayat Samiti (Jaipur), two voting stations from Jodhpur’s Luni Pancayat Samiti and one vote station Pipad City Pancayat Samiti.
A total voter was 64.40 percent recorded in the three phases.
The election was held for 200 members of Zila Parishad, 1564 members of Panchayat Samiti, six District Pramukh and Deputy District Pramukhs and 78 Pradhans and up-Pradhans.
Of this number, 1 member of Zila Parishad and 26 Panchayati Samiti members have been selected without repositioning.
The selection was held at Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa and District of Sirohi.
The Commissioner of the State Election P S Mehra said that complicated security settings had been made in the poll and surrounding booth for vote counting.
He said that the procession of victory, demonstrations and public meetings with winning candidates were strictly prohibited.
