The results of the XII Tamil Nadu class board on July 19

Chennai: The decimal point in the XII class mark can determine the fate of a student who is looking for in a college.
That’s because the sign will not be rounded this year.
This time, the subject sign will have two decimal points to break the tie in rankings for engineering and art and science seats.
An official in the school education department told TI that the XII class sign would have two decimal points in accordance with the government’s orders.
This department introduced decimal points to avoid confusion at college acceptance.
The Directorate of Government Examination (DGE) on Friday announced that the results of class XII would be declared on July 19 and students could download their marker sheets from July 22.
The state government cancels the XII Council exam for the second Covid-19 wave.
According to the expert committee suggestion, it was decided to give weight to class X and XI, the exam and practical assessment and internal class XII.
Class X signs will bring an abbreviation of 50% while class XI will carry 20% and class XII will bring an abbreviation of 30% when marking a computing sign.
Jayaprakash Gandhi’s career consultant said there would be many students in the same cut-off because the weight system was followed this year to provide value to class XII students.
“We suggest giving decimal points to break the bond in ranking for reception to professional courses including engineering, agricultural courses.
The national testing body gives Jee (play) to produce up to seven decimal points.
The state government has decided to provide results in two decimals.
Points And I welcome to move because some would solve the problem during reception, “he said.
He further suggested seeing class XI math, physics and signs of the fourth subject in addition to signs of class XII in mathematics, physics and fourth subjects, date of birth and random number to decide the tie while rating to students.
“It is possible that many students in class XII will score full value in mathematics,” he added.
G J Manohar, MCC Middle School in Chetpet, said this step will help universities during reception.
Some principals are different and say many students will lose the advantage of getting two or three additional values.
N Vijayan, Medium Principal of Zion Matriculation School in Tambaram, said students could lose three to four signs by not rounding up their signs on each subject.
“Universal rules are throwing a sign of less than 0.5 and add one sign to more than 0.5 marks.
The sign with a decimal point can cause confusion,” he said.
Agnes Rita, Principal of the Grt Mahalakshmi Vidhyalaya Matrikulation High School in Ashok Nagar, also said it would be better to round out a sign.
