Previously, Minister of Mamata Banerjee’s chairman announced last week that 24,500 teachers would be recruited for primary and higher secondary schools throughout the state.
Bandyopadhyay said that according to the CM announcement, recruitment can be completed before the puja.
Bhattacharya said that a total of 10,500 candidates will undergo counseling for recruitment at the primary level.
Counseling of the 2014 Tet Candidate, which has been trapped over the years in lawgury, will be taken from next Tuesday.
CM previously announced that the appointment process to fill at least 14,000 jobs at the top primary level (class V-VIII) and 10,500 at the primary level (class I-IV) will be completed before the puja in October.
About 7,500 posts again for primary teachers will be filled in March 2022, Banerjee said.
