Patna: A Railway Member Committee of the Executive Director Deepak Peter has completed the interaction with the candidate for the Railway (RRB) Popular Non-Technical Examination (NTPC) on Saturday.
The Committee visited all five East Central Railway (ECR) divisions and interacted with more than 500 candidates in ‘Camps Outreach’ at Patna, Khagaul, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, PT Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction and Dhanbad for the past four days.
The committee is investigating alleged differences in the NTPC exam results announced on January 14, which leads to broad protests, combustion and violence by the train worker aspirants in various places in Bihar from January 24 and so on.
According to the Head of Public Relations Psasan ECR (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar, the candidates register their concerns.
According to the source, the committee’s goal was to overcome the candidates and examine their representation from all angles before continuing it to the train ministry panel to make a final decision on this issue.
The students strongly opposed the train decision to conduct an examination in two stages, claiming that the second stage exam was unfair for those who had cleaned the first stage.
About 1.25 Crore candidates have submitted an exam on advertisements published in 2019 for around 35,000 posts from levels 2 to 6 in various categories.
About 60 Lakh candidates have emerged on the test held by RRB throughout the country in seven phases starting from December 28, 2020 to 31 July 2021, said the source, adding that the nervous prospective work claimed that there was only one test mentioned in the RRB notice published in 2019 .
Railways has advertised to fill the post Assistant Traffic (88), Guard Goods (5748), Senior Commercial cum Ticket Collector (5638) and scribe cum senior officer (2854), the sources said.
