Gurgaon: For better road connectivity in the new sector, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Team official (GMDA) on Friday conducted a location inspection in various missing links between sectors 77 and 99.
It came after a meeting between CEO Badshapur MLA Daulabad and GMDA Sudhir Rajpal, which was held earlier this week.
According to GMDA officials, there are around 45 missing links between sectors 58 and 115 because of various litigation, confiscated law, land acquisition, which causes obstacles to road construction in new housing areas.
“We do all efforts to eliminate congestion and constantly coordinate with other institutions for the same thing.
Sub-also important is the obstacle, however, we encourage a solution to it.
The location has been interrupted or there are all kinds of barriers, we coordinate With related authorities to clean the ground, “said a senior GMDA official.
In addition, GMDA officials say that most road repair work in these sectors has been completed and the rest of the work will be finished soon.
However, local residents say that almost no work seen in the field despite the estimated crores of infrastructure development jobs approved by authority.
They blamed technical obstacles to the slow rate of development in the area.
“There are certain streets that need immediate attention, especially Rampura Chowk to Patudi Road serving large traffic.
GMDA has made the tender process very complex so they cannot get bidders and companies that will advance cannot fulfill all conditions delay causes of tender, “said Praveen Malik, a resident of sector 92.
