Gurgaon: To attract the attention of the Department of Public Works (PWD) and Municipal Corporation of Manesar (MCM) with dilapidated road conditions outside of them, the community, residents of Orris Carnation Residency in Sector 85 have locked the main gate since the past two days.
Residents said that because of the cacol road, the accident had occurred outside the main gate.
Despite complaining to relevant officials, there are no actions taken in the last three years.
The road is flooded because of the sustainable wastewater flow from Sikanderpur Badha Village, which does not have the right drainage system.
Satinder Bhatia, a member of the people of Rwa, said, “It has been three years since we suffer.
We were forced to cross dirty water that flooded the main road so it was difficult for us to find a hole.
So, to attract the attention of the authorities, we have locked the main gate.” About 1,000 families live in the community.
In March last year, PWD had made an estimate that it would cost hospitals.
56 lakh to build a sewer, but the work cannot be started due to lack of feasibility.
Naresh Kumar, Vice President of Rwa, said, “Until last year we paid from our pocket and got the road cleaned from wastewater.
All our hopes for the authorities who care and local representatives have fallen on deaf ears.” A senior PWD official said , “We have written to the development of districts and Panchayat officers several times to instruct Panpanch and Gram Panchayat from Sikanderpur Badha not to divert wastewater on the road.
Now after the formation of the city corporation, we are not responsible for construction because MCM must take care of him.” Meanwhile , Commissioner MCM Munish Sharma said, “Until now, there are many roads with GMDA, HSIIDC and HSVP, so we present the streets with the information of the relevant officials, so that citizens know who will be approached.
