Baghdad: At least three rockets landed on Monday at the Ain Al-Asad air base, which accommodated the US and other international forces in Western Iraq, but did not cause casualties, a coalition spokesman said.
US Army Colonel Wayne Marotto, spokesman for the US international coalition led by US, tweeted that the initial report suggested the attack occurred at 14:45.
He said the damage was assessed.
The United States accused the militia groups supported by Iran launching a regular rocket attack on its troops in Iraq.
There is no claim to be immediate responsibility for Monday’s attack.
