Varanasi: Machine and 20 Bogies from the travel of the goods leading to Varanasi from Lucknow slipped near the Shri Krishna Nagar train station in Jaunpur at 7.57 in the morning on Thursday.
Therefore, the train movement on the Lucknow-Varanasi train route through Sultanpur is blocked and many trains including Delhi-Varanasi Mahamana Express is stopped at a different train station, said the additional train manager at Division Railway, Varanasi, Ravi Chaturvedi.
He mentioned that DRM NR Lucknow and other senior officials have reached the site of the incident, where the operation to clean the track and for the recovery of the train movement has begun at accelerated speed.
Train goods with around 60 empty bogies are heading for Varanasi from Lucknow.
When it passed the Shri Krishna Nagar train station in the Badlapur area in Jaunpur District, the dairy occurred, the official said, suspecting the accident occurred because the railway line was broken.
Officials said that the true cause of dereting would be clear after the right investigation.
When the Bogies train began to collide with each other while cutting out, hundreds of locals gathered near the incident site heard a loud voice.
Shri Krishna Nagar staff, immediately told the neighboring stations and senior officials about the incident after all the trains moved at Lucknow-Sultanpur-Varanasi Line was stopped at various train stations.
