The RT-PCR test must take part in Yatra

Rajkot: The police will ensure strict compliance with Covid-19 guidelines during Rath Yatra Lord Jagannatt will be held on Monday, Police Commissioner Rajkot Manoj Agarwal said.

All participants including the organizers and supervisors must produce a negative RPCR report carried out within 48 hours before the start of Yatra.
Also, at least one dose of covid vaccine has been made mandatory for all participants.
Administration has also put a lot of restrictions in the view of the pandemic situation.
Only five vehicles, including trains, will be permitted on the route.
Akhadas, trucks, elephants, Bhajan Mandlis and the band will not be permitted in Yatra this year.
Also, there will be no ‘prasad’ distribution on the route.
