New Delhi: The State Union Minister for the Health and Welfare of the Family, Dr.
Bharati Pravin Pawar on Monday said the central government had sent a team to America where Covid-19 cases increased.
When talking to Ani increased in the case of Covid-19 in Maharashtra and Kerala, Dr.
Bharati Pravin Pawar said, “The central government team works in the field.
We continue to monitor the situation, take feedback from the state government regularly.” Pawar said that the central government has provided guidelines and state governments need to follow this and urge people to wear masks and avoid crowded places.
He further said that the government would take more steps to hold back Minister of Health Covid-19 and Union Mansukh Mandavia regularly held a meeting.
“He has a meeting yesterday too,” he said.
Some states in India again witnessed a surge in the number of Covid-19 cases.
Meanwhile, India reported 37,154 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, notify the Ministry of Health on Monday.
Active cases in India from Covid-19 cases are at 4.50,899.
Active cases constitute 1.46 percent of the total cases.
