The battle of coalition led by Saudi in Yemen destroyed a drone sent to South Saudi Arabia on Monday, and a coalition air strike hit the parts of the Yemeni capital controlled by Houthi from Sanaa, said the Saudi state media.
Drones were launched from Sanaa International Airport and aimed at civilians at King Abdullah Saudi Airport in Jizan, Saudi media said.
Al Masirah TV, was run by the Houthi movement which was in harmony with Iran who had controlled North Yemen since expelling the internationally recognized Yemeni government in Sanaa at the end of 2014, said the coalition air strike hit the car’s maintenance workshop in the area of Bani Al-Harith in Sanaa, and also damaged house.
The coalition said earlier would carry out military operations in the capital to destroy the workshop and other drone warehouses and weapons, urging civilians to avoid the area.
Houthi’s troops have for seven years of conflict sending drones and firing missiles to Saudi Arabia, and a coalition led by Saudi has replied with air strikes in Yemen.
