Marib (Yemen): Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen said that Friday had killed 126 Huthi rebels in the last 24 hours in the attack around the North Pro-Government of Marib.
The coalition, which supports the internationally recognized Yemeni government, has reported strikes almost every day for the past month against Iran’s supported Huthis, every time it claims high losses.
The rebels, who for months carried out an attack on the government camp, rarely commented on losses.
AFP cannot independently verify the Saudi toll road.
On Friday, the coalition said his strike “destroyed 16 military vehicles and eliminated 126 terrorists”, the Saudi Spa official news agency reported.
Huthis began a big boost to seize the city of Marib in February and, after the break, they updated their attack in September.
Marib, the capital of oil-rich province with the same name, is the last leg of the government that is fought in North Yemen.
The Yemeni civil war began in 2014 when Huthis won the capital Sanaa, encouraged Saudi LED forces to intervene to support the government the following year.
Tens of thousands of people have died and millions of people move what is called the United Nations for the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
