Lucknow: Unaided Private School Association (UPSA) has opposed the direction of the government ‘there is no increase in costs’ for the session of 2022-23.
About 250 schools under the UPSA demanded permission to raise costs and have sent letters in this case with additional major secretaries (secondary education), Aradhna Shukla.
The UPSA said that for the past two years the school had not yet added a cent but now they must increase by 8 to 10% because schools run in losses and therefore find it difficult to pay salaries to employees.
“A number of students from private schools have left school because of the financial crisis and / or have received entrance tickets to government schools.
Also, at the junior level the parent’s level does not accept students but prefer personal training or new online learning platforms.
Students lacking and less Expenditures more schools must increase this year’s costs, “said the President’s annealed UPSA.

We have not increased teacher salaries over the past two years, our maintenance costs rise every year and also we have provided neglecting costs to a number of students who have lost loved ones because of Covid-19, the association asked the government to enable them to increase this year’s costs, he added .
Agarwal said it was also difficult to keep the teacher motivated without giving them a salary increase.
