Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh saw a little more open when school continued, after a gap of almost five months, on Monday.
Following the second wave of Covid, schools closed in March.
India Public Inter College, Aligarnhe Department of Secondary Education has placed 60 officials for inspection and monitoring assignments in 60 districts.
Officials will submit their reports at night.
According to government orders, restart regular schools, regardless of the council they are affiliated with, for grade 9 to 12, will be for five days a week, from Monday to Friday.
There is no class to be held on weekends.
Students have been called to attend school in two shifts, with a capacity of 50% in each shift.
While the first shift is from 8am to 12 noon, the second shift will start at 12:30 pm to 4:30.
Face coverage has been mandatory for all students and staff.
The additional secretary of Aradhana Shukla instructed officials to drive sanitization after each shift and on Saturdays and Sundays.
Social distance will be followed at the time of entry and out.
Schools that have more than one gate entrance must use it for decongestion, Shukla said in its order.
The school has been asked to ensure sanitation facilities such as handwash, thermal scanning, pulse oximeter and other medical assistance needed.
