The school is set for offline classes for class 1 to 5 in Dharwad

Dharwad: following the state government’s decision to start offline classes for standard 1 to 5 from Monday, schools in the Dharwad district have intensified the preparations to follow the Covid-19 protocol and conduct classes.
It has been 20 months since Pre-Pratama and Primary schools are closed because the pandemic and the Ministry of Education have directed all schools to prepare to continue the physical class for grade 1 to 5.
Only high school, PU and a higher secondary diploma of colleges have been reopened, for Meanwhile after the first wave Covid subsided.
After the second wave starts, they are all closed, and the class shifts online.
Recently, the government decided to start a physical class for class 6-10, PUC, Degree and Diploma but has maintained a decision about the reopening class for 1-5 standards in delay.
With experts say it is now safe to continue the physical class for 1-5 standards, the government announces the reopening of elementary schools from October 25.
The government has not decided on LKG and UKG classes.
There are 1.72 lakh children who have registered for class 1-5 in the district.
The students are ready to return to class and the teacher also wants to continue the physical class.
However, some parents, especially those who sent their children to schools without personal help, worried about the safety of their children.
Prediction that there may be the third wave that can trouble children making parents think twice before sending children to school.
But parents who work really want to see their children back to school so they can concentrate on their work without disturbing online classes.
The return of the physical class has worried about several parents who cannot pay fees because of unemployment and other reasons.
Private school management is happy with the decision to allow physical classes because they will begin to get income in the form of costs.
Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) Mohankumar Hanchate told Stoi that the teacher who had taken both vaccine doses would be eligible to handle the physical class.
Uniforms and textbooks have been distributed to elementary school students and dawn eating will be supplied from Monday.
