Gurgaon: The school in the city was reopened on Friday after being closed for more than three months.
Data recorded by the Ministry of Education revealed that while 15-20% of students attended classes in schools, ‘budget’ private schools in the city saw more than 25% of children switched on the first day.
Maintaining social distance in the queue and waiting for their turn to disanitize and disseminate, before being allowed to enter the school corridor, students beamed with excitement.
In many places, the teacher welcomed the students in the midst of Sanskrit Song Shlokas.
An education official has said attendance tends to take from Monday.
In addition, many students must be sent back home because they fail to produce a form of approval from parents.
“Many parents prefer to wait before making a decision.
We are sure that because they become convinced that our school is doing everything possible to keep children safe in place, the presence will increase,” said the official department.
In school, students are asked to sit on a selective bench with their name tag on it.
Teachers and principals take sessions to introduce them with guidelines that must be followed.
“The first day is rebuilding a comfortable space for students.
The teacher also reviewed ongoing online learning while the physical class was suspended,” said Manoj Lakhra, Principal of the Bajhera Government.
Private schools, however, choose not to call students for physical classes on Friday.
While leading schools continue with online classes, only a few private school budgets are reopened.
“We can only reopen if we are allowed to ask all students to come to school,” said Yashal Yadav, head of the CD International School school.
