Jammu: Police Jammu and Kashmir conduct a search in the pargwal area near the international border (IB) here after the locals allegedly seeing flying objects believed to be a drone, officials said on Friday.
This operation was launched in several pargwal villages on Thursday night, shortly after a local resident saw light flashing in the sky at around 8:30 a.m.
and warned fellow villagers, they said.
However, the search operation was suspended late at night and continued with around 5 this morning.
However, nothing can be restored during surgery.
Three allegations of Pakistani drones were also seen simultaneously over the Bari-Brahmana area, Chiladya and Gigwal in the Samba district around the same time on Thursday.
“Massive allowance operations were carried out in areas where the movement of the alleged drone was taken throughout the night and in the morning.
However, no one was found on the ground,” said a police officer.
Personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) fired several rounds in the direction of one of the drones in Chiladya before returning to Pakistan, officials said.
Two other drones disappeared from the sky shortly after floating on top of sensitive security installations in Bari Brahmin and along the Jammu-Pathankot highway in Gigwal, they said.
The latest sighting was recorded almost one week after the police shot down Drone Pakistan which brought an improvised explosion material five kg (IED) in the Kanachak border belt near here.
There had been Spurt in the drone activity, especially after the Air Force Indian Station (IAF) bombing in Jammu on June 27, resulted in injury to two security personnel.
