New Delhi: Fresh satellite images apparently showed China to build a second new village along the disputed border in Arunachal Pradesh, although Indian soldiers on Thursday emphasized “locations in the north of the actual control line (LAC)” in China – held by the region.
The new enclave of 60 buildings in the Shi Yomi district, which was not in 2019, it had appeared “six km in” the area claimed by India “in the area between Lac and international borders” was shown on the Map of India, as per NDTV, which accessed the image satellite.
But the army, when contacted by Toi, however, said “The location in question is located in the north of LAC” in accordance with the coordinates.
An officer, in turn, added that “there is no construction like that in our perception of LAC”.
3,488 Km Lac, stretching from Ladakh Timur to Arunachal Pradesh, is a demarcation that separates Indian controlled areas from China, even though both parties have “different perceptions” from the line with Beijing refusing to “together clarify” now.
China, of course, continues with her salami-slicing tactics to bite neighboring areas such as India and Bhutan.
This is a newly built Chinese village like the second recently revealed in the disputed area in Pradesh Arunachal.
The first is the 100-house village built on the banks of the Tsari Chu River in Subansiri Regency over last year, which is located 93 km west of the second pocket.
The disputed area in the Substairi Regency of China has been under China since Longju’s incident in 1959.
As reported by the previous TOI, China has built 628 ‘Xiaokang’ border defense models to strengthen the border of the border of the Tibet autonomous region with India and India Bhutan for the past few years.
Although many villages “double use” are located on the side of China Lac, some in disputed areas with India.
“After Doklam Face-off in 2017, China has also built several new villages in the Bhutan region,” an official said.
Responding to Chinese villages built in Substairi Regency above, the Ministry of External Affairs on November 11 said, “China has conducted construction activities in recent years throughout the border region, including those who have been illegally occupied for decades.
India did not receive illegal occupation in Our area does not accept Chinese claims that cannot be justified.
