The second Covid-19 wave has not ended, more than 10% positivity in 66 regencies: Ministry of Health

New Delhi: The second wave of Covid-19 is not over, the Ministry of Health Union warns on Friday, confirms that it is necessary to continue to follow the Covid protocol to close the second wave completely.
The ministry noted that 66 districts in the country reported more than 10 percent positive for the week ended July 8 8.
80 percent of new cases came from 90 districts – showing the need for attention focused in these areas, said Lav Agarwal, with the secretary in Ministry of Health, when overcoming a press conference.
“In the first wave, the peak of 97,894 cases was observed on September 17.

Agarwal also noted that 53 percent of these cases came from Maharashtra (21 percent) and Kerala (32 percent).
“There are 86 districts with less than 100 cases of everyday.
Eighty percent of new cases come from 90 districts – show the need for attention focused in these fields.

England reported 20,000 Case every day on average, “he said.
“Russia saw the 3rd peak in cases.
During the peak of the second wave, around 28,000 were observed at an average of every day and now 23,000 cases were observed every day.
Bangladesh witnessed more cases on the third peak than the second peak.
Reported 7,000 cases On average during the second wave and now 9,000 are being recorded every day, “he added.
