Kanpur: The second leg of the phase-I of the Metro construction work between Chunniganj and Nayaganj will begin on Monday.
Construction work will begin with the preparation of the diaphragm wall at Metro Naveen Metro Station (not yet built) in front of the President Director of UPMRC Kumar Keshav.
Construction work which includes an increase in stations in the first leg of phase I (between IIT and Motijheel), will soon wrap up.
There is no underground metro station between IIT and Motijheel.

In addition to the start of construction at Metro Naveen Metro Station, Casting works in the Casting of the Ung (UG), which is located in Makadi Khera will begin on Monday.
