Nagpur: With AAR-Indamer Engineering, a Joint venture between AAR, the large MRO of the United States, and Indamer Engineering (the oldest MRO in India), announced the opening of the facility to the domestic fleet of aircraft in Nagpur, Mihan-Sez has obtained the second repair of aircraft and operational care Depot (MRO).
MRO has been approved under the General Regulatory Norm of the Indian public regulatory (DGCA).
This can serve foreign airlines after the approval of the US Federal flight administration (FAA) applied by the company.
MRO will be a source of electricity from the roof solar panel too.
The first MRO to be operationalized at Mihan Sez is Indian air.
Air India MRO was built with Boeing and then left to the airline to operate.
Distributed in an area of 30 hectares, MRO Aar-Indamer is located between Indian air units and Dassault Reliance Aerospace Limited (DRAL).
It is connected with a taxiway.
Partners in joint ventures have invested the RS400 Crore and this project is supported by the Bank.
AAR-Indamer will serve to narrow the body airplane starting with Airbus 320 and immediately Boeing 737 family.
Facilities have been developed to support heavy examination activities, structural improvements, non-destructive cabins testing and chair repairs.
Indian air MRO, on the other hand, generally serves a Boeing wide aircraft.
“We have started by taking the first aircraft from Indigo Airlines.
Even as it has begun by taking domestic planes, the plan is to serve foreign airlines in the next six months,” said Rajeev Gupta, CEO of Indamer Aviation.
This will help in earning a clean foreign exchange income needed for units that operate SEZ.
MRO will have two double hangars and others are dedicated to painting.
The company already has smaller private aircraft and helicopter maintenance.
It has also taken the maintenance of the state government aircraft.
Now, it has ventured to a narrow body plane flown by commercial airlines, Gupta said.
In the current scenario in the aviation sector, Gupta said, “it is known that this industry will go through time emphasized.
This scenario might also leave an airline emphasized by maintenance.
However, maintenance cannot be ignored, and must be done from time to time.

“Gupta said Nagpur was the most suitable flight maintenance site.
“It’s well connected to all directions, itís here can provide trained workers,” he said.
“Above all, dry and heat weather matches the maintenance of aircraft because there is almost no possibility of corrosion in parts due to moisture in the air,” he said.
After the Indamer, Mihan-Sez may have another MRO by Kalpana Saroj Aviation, which has been given a land of Acre.
