The second Nagpur train division in Maharashtra for violating the mask rules

Nagpur: Even when Central Railway (CR) has intensified the drive against passengers and people who do not wear masks on the train and platform, the Nagpur division is second after Bhusawal in recording cases of people do not follow the protocol.
On December 26, 2021, the train staff arrested 190 people because they did not wear a mask at CR station and collected RS35.150 well from them.
In December so far, 1,710 people have been found not wearing masks and RS2.6 lakh towards Fine found from them.
CR officials said between April 17 and 30 November, a special team of ticket inspection personnel were detected and sentenced 26,725 passengers for violating the protocol and recovering a fine of RS43.97 lakh.
Cr has appealed to passengers to travel with proper and valid train tickets and follow all the norms mandated for Covid-19 on the platform and train.
