New Delhi: Home Secretary Union Ajay Bhalla on Wednesday wrote to the Head of Secretary of the State of the State and asked them to ensure close compliance with Covid norms by the public.
“Only violations of Covid norms have been observed in several parts of the country, especially in public transport and at the hill station,” Bhalla wrote.
The official asked countries to ensure they default in ordered norms in relevant provisions.
“It was emphasized that the second wave of Covid was not over.
We must remember that while vaccination reached significantly, there was no room for satisfaction and therefore the right behavior must continue,” Bhalla said in his letter to all states and UTS.
The secretary of the house asked the state to focus on a five-fold strategy of tests, trajectories, treat, vaccination and follow the right future Covid to prevent rising cases in the future.
India on Wednesday reported 38,792 cases and 624 deaths due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
