Even though it was not a busy shopping day, because the area was busy along Usman Road, the physical distance went to throw under the Flyover Road Usman where some of them had established a temporary kiosk.
Because of the surge in the number of cases and as a precautionary measure, civil bodies have announced the closure of nine important market areas in the city including T Nagar.
In all fields, the business continued on Monday after the round of talks with the Civic body where the shop owner was advised to follow the Covid protocol.
Other shopping centers such as Purasawalkam, Zam Bazar, Triplicane, NSC Bose Road, Royapuram Market, AminjiCarai also enlun function on Monday.

With health experts who warn the third wave, we need cooperation from all stakeholders.
So, it is very important for shop owners to work with us too,” one Senior official with City Corporation said.
Steps like online radio have been arranged in the mall where Covid conscious messages are on the speaker to remind buyers to ensure social distance and face masks.
