“This project includes the development of green belts, cycling lines, Play zones, trails along the canal, sitting area, wall climbing activities, among others.
In the second phase, the Sidhwan canal was being developed along the 1.6 km stretch (from Jalan Pakhowal to Jalan Dugri) at a cost of Rs 5.06 Crore.
It will have a green belt, cycle paths on both sides, double roads along the canal, among others.
Under the third phase of the project, the seafront will be developed from Dugri Road to the Dhuri line.
“With the development of around 800 m stretching around Rs 3 Crore, a large number of regional residents will benefit because they can be used to run in the morning / night along with other recreational activities,” he added.
