Srinagar: On the second day of the revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, the People’s Alliance for the Gupkar Declaration (PGD) Thursday expressed concern over the situation in J & K and decided to continue the struggle for the recovery of “legitimate rights”.

Speaking to reporters outside Abdullah’s residence after the meeting, Tarigami said the alliance “reaffirmed our determination to continue our struggle to restore our rights”.
He said the meeting expressed concern over the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Even though the government’s high claims, the situation since August 5, 2019 worsened day after day.
They claim that normal conditions will be recovered and violence will end, but see what they have said on the parliament floor recently in response to questions about state.
Minister said That state will be returned only at the right time when normal is restored, “Tarigami said.
That means that the situation “continues abnormally” and claims to restore peace in the region has not been achieved by the steps initiated on the ‘Malang day on August 5, 2019 “.
A spokesman for the Alliance asked where the investment and work of the central opportunity claimed the revocation of special status will bring .
“If you move, whether it’s Kashmir or Jammu, or even in fact in the Ladakh area, whatever the development initiated by the previous government was not even finished.
“They claim that many investments will be made here that will produce jobs, which will produce hope for children, just say, where the projects, where the investment occurred? Forget Kashmir, what about your watch? Ask Chamber There, ask the room here and ask the people in Leh, “he said.
Tarigami said there was no promise made by the center had been fulfilled.
“On the contrary, applying such laws that limit the freedom of the press, from the people, has become a command that day.
Even though there are two locking (after the Pandemic Covid-19) elsewhere (in this country), we continue to pass the hard action Since August 5, 2019, “he said.
