The situation in Himachal due to heavy rains was carefully monitored: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that the situation caused by heavy rain at Himachal Pradesh was closely monitored with the Central Authority working in coordination with the state government.
Flash floods triggered by heavy rain sweeping buildings and cars in tourist attractions in Himachal Pradesh while bad weather also leads to the closing of the airport in Dharamshala.
Flash floods also damaged the bridge on Jalan Bathing-Pathankot after traffic was stopped on both sides, leading to traffic congestion.
“The situation in Himachal Pradesh because heavy rain is being monitored.
The authorities work with the state government.
All possible support is being extended.
I pray for their safety in the affected areas,” Modi Tweeted.
